4.0 out of 5 stars Sad and moving tale, July 7 2004
By M. E. Newell (Marietta, Georgia, United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Wishes and Tears (Paperback)
"Wishes and Tears" by Dee Williams opens up with sixteen year old Janet Slater finding out that she going to have child out of wedlock in the 1950's. After her child is taken away from her, Janet vows to find her no matter the cost, even if it means not being with Mark. After years of looking and finding Paula, there time together will be limited.
This is a sad story about losing the ones that we love and finding them might only be a limit amount of time. While I really enjoyed "Wishes and Tears" the only reason that I didn't give five stars was the Mark character just seem to cruel and not very unbelievible.
