Product Description

Ingram

Katherine Inskip's life is at a standstill: she is completely overworked, stressed-out and indifferent to love--not a great situation for a romance writer to find herself in. She desperately needs some R&R. A South Seas vacation--complete with sun and surf--sounds perfect. But relaxation is the last thing on the mind of the dashing owner of the island resort, and descendant of South Seas pirates. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

3.0 out of 5 stars Providing book information, Oct 31 2007

The heat it on...

Katherine Inskip's life is at a complete standstill. She's overworked, stressed out and feeling blase about love--a bad state for the author of historical romances to find herself in. A vacation is what she needs--sun, sand and relaxation.

But on a beautiful South Seas island, Kate finds a whole lot more than she'd bargained for. Jared Hawthorne, owner of the island resort and resident swashbuckler, could have stepped off the pages of one of her books. He's her perfect fantasy--charming, adventureous and dashing--and more than willing to play the part. But could Jared have too much in common with his pirate ancestors?

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Read, Jun 10 2002

A little predictable but fun. Kate's behavior was childish at times. There was lots of passion. The Pirate is a decent read.
