1.0 out of 5 stars A real shame, Jun 15 2004
By An Amazon Guy (Boston, MA, United States of America) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Haunted Cabin Mystery (Paperback)
This is the first of the shameful series of Boxcar Children books that were written long after the author's death. The first 19 are wonderfully written classics of children's literature. The rest, for the most part, are pointless fluff, not engaging for parents or most children. If you are reading them all to your children, and in order, they will also become very confused here: Throughout Warner's original series, the characters aged and matured quite a bit. Starting with this book, they are inexplicably returned to and perpetually stuck at their original ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Haunted Cabin Mystery, Dec 31 1999

This review is from: Haunted Cabin Mystery (Paperback)
The children went to visit their grandpa's friend. He lived in a Haunted cabin! I thought it was a little scary. It was still good.
