About the Author

Marlena Spieler, the lively, outgoing and exuberant food personality who broadcasts live on television and radio has authored over 50 cookbooks published worldwide and has written for various publications including Bon Appetit and Saveur. She has won the AFJ Prize twice for her food column "The Roving Feast", is a three-time James Beard nominee, and winner of the World Gourmand Book Award. Born in Sacramento, California, Marlena attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and has since lived in Israel, Crete, London and Paris.
