Product Description

From AudioFile

Historical settings give this romance period glamour. Dukes, maidens, chivalry, dreams-come-true and happy endings are part of the fantasies. Vastly popular in print, this romance on audio will entertain the same audience. The narrator delivers long sighs, declarations of love, descriptions of gallantry and seduction with gusto. Music adds to the steamy atmosphere. The quality of the production is good, and there's plenty of dramatic effect added to the high drama and passion. R.F.W. Ingram

5.0 out of 5 stars The title holds true, Jul 12 2007
By Melanie Gagnon "MelMel" (Montreal Canada) - See all my reviews

We get to know Alexandra the heroine at an early age as well as our hero Jordan. Alexandra is a great heroine as she is not conventional in any way and is extremely intelligent and witty. Jordan is complicated, smart and intriguing. Of course Judith puts our heroes through many trials and tribulations which keeps this book highly entertaining. This book has it all!

5.0 out of 5 stars I fell In Love..., Dec 20 2004
By Madison James "Madison" (Cannakalle, Turkey) - See all my reviews
I was always one of those people that are very sceptical of romance books, but one day while on a trip, lacking on reading material..i stumble upon this book for half price.I havent look back since.
This book is fantastic! It left me spellbound for hours and i just do not want to put it down. This book has made me eat all the horrid things i said concerning romance books. The heroine is not your damsel in distress, she got spunk! The hero is not such a prince charming and they dont talk weird at all.No "please darling, let me look at your eyes that looks like two shining stars frm the heaven above'.None of that.
Fantastic read,i've read it 3 times already and i suggest you do the same thing too.You wont regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't you just think McNaught writes the best romances ever?
Sometimes.
And "Something Wonderful" is one of those times. McNaught never failed to write the kind of novels that you HAVE to read on a one-sitting arrangement. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars not McNaught's best...but a great story!
McNaught is my favorite author, hands down. The only reason that I don't give this book 5 stars is because of the period where Jordan is gone and Alexandra has to face British... Read more
