5.0 out of 5 stars Providing back cover blurb, Dec 30 2005
By A Customer
From the back cover:

He searched for a murderer that couldn't exist.

The party was over. Alice McCoy was dead--a depressed girl who'd taken a loaded gun to her head. At least that was what everyone thought. Everyone except Michael Olson. He knew it was no suicide. But how could he prove it? How could he catch a murderer that seemingly had the power to walk through walls?

And how could he tell Jessica Hart that he loved her when she obviously preferred someone else? Michael did not know, but he would try his best.

It would not be enough. For him or Jessica.

The homecoming dance will end like the party--in horror.

The murderer will walk through another wall...

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST Books ever!!, Jan 24 2004
By Danielle (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
I'm an avid reader and have read many books, but no books have rocked my world as the Final Friends series by Christopher Pike has. The cover of the books makes them look old fashioned and cheesy, but once I started reading there was no putting the book down. They were so good that I got my mother to read them too and she enjoyed the books as much as I did. What makes the Final Friends Series so good are its fascinating characters(you'll never guess who forms friendships)and the tying relationship between them all, as well as the entire MYSTERY. When reading the first book I NEVER expected what was going to happen in the third book, but unless you read all three you won't understand the entire picture(who did it and why). So if you want to be swept into a world of frienship, murder, jealousy, and a WHOLE LOT of Mystery, then Christopher Pike's (Final Friends)The Party, The Dance, and The Graduation, is definitely for you!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Unnecessary, but good trilogy...Pike sequels I would enjoy., Dec 29 2001
By Anthony Manno (Mt. Prospect, IL United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The FINAL FRIENDS series is a good mystery, and you want to know who did it. The thing is that three books were not necessary for this story. It could have been done in one. Most fans enjoyed it because it was not strictly from one point of view. I enjoyed it because it is CHRISTOPHER PIKE; his stories always made me think about something, even the ones that were not up to par. It's the ending that is the problem. Fake, contrived, however you want to describe it--after three books, you want something mind-blowing, not forced and asking: "Did I really just read three books for a boring conclusion?" The ending might have worked had we gotten a single novel instead of three, and if we didn't have to wait for a month or two between each book. So much build up with a little pay-off. Rates four stars because it is a good story, and people will enjoy it. (Rumor has it that PIKE planned a reunion story--but since nothing has been out in three years, I have my doubts. We fans are still waiting for the second LAST VAMPIRE series and a REMEMBER ME movie. Pike knows what he's doing to postpone that movie; his fans are ready to tear it apart if it is not done the right way. REMEMBER ME is one of the most beloved Pike books. It is number 3 on most surveys done by fan clubs, beaten out by THE SEASON OF PASSAGE and THE MIDNIGHT CLUB. Sometimes number 4 with THE LAST VAMPIRE series chosen collectively as number 3. We keep hoping just to get any new book out. Stop the reprints...give us something fresh...or even not so fresh. I want a CHAIN LETTER 3, and I seem to be the only one. But even though we agree REMEMBER ME 4 would be pushing it, fans would jump for joy just to have a new CHRISTOPHER PIKE book to read. Give us another anthology. Or the other sequel that's begging to be written THE TACHYON WEB 2. There are only two PIKE novels I do not want sequels to. ETERNAL ENEMY and STARLIGHT CRYSTAL are awesome books, but sequels would ruin them. I have always treasured the thought that if I want to read sequels to these books, all I have to do is reread them.)
