4.0 out of 5 stars Loving April, Jul 19 2003
By A Customer
I enjoyed this book, though i would NOT recommend it to children (under 12yrs)for various reasons.
The book is about a girl called April who due to an accident in her child hood, caused her to become deaf.
The people who live in Aprils village laugh at her because she does not know how to dress or behave like a young lady should and her mother is always away at work. Aprils only friends are her animals until a boy and his mother move into the village. In the story there are many comparrisons about the rich and less rich. It shows that whoever you are on the outside is very different to the person within.
