From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 4-This is the tenth language in this series for children. Produced to teach letters, numbers, colors, common expressions and more, the 21 songs and narration follow Marie and her family through the day. All narration is in Korean. Songs are sung in Korean with several presented in English as well. Most songs are Korean versions of American childhood classics, such as "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," "Ten Little Indians," "The More We Get Together." "Oh! Susannah," and "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes." This format allows those familiar with the English version to learn the song in another language more easily. Lively music accompanies adult and child voices. The accompanying coloring book contains the lyrics (in the Korean alphabet), a very basic pronunciation guide, and the English translation of songs and narration. This well-produced production would be useful as a supplement to a language instruction curriculum, for teachers who want to introduce students to songs in Korean, and for parents interested in enhancing their children's learning.
