I picked up this book expecting another dreary tale about how to cope with menopause, but got a lot more than that! I feel energized by the many tips and nuggets found in this book on everything from understanding your husband to motivating yourself to excercise. So many of the articles you rip out of newspapers and magazines are summed up here, and the book is fun to read.

What an informative and humorous presentation of Midlife Mamas! Sunny definitely shares her experiences in a witty, positive, and personal way, covering just about every aspect of life. She offers great suggestions and stimulates the reader to action. I appreciate the sections at the end of each chapter--"The Checklist" and "The Checkup from the Neck Up". Sunny has helped define womanhood, the ups and the downs, in a provocative way. This is a MUST READ for all women!

After reading the chapter on hormones I called my gyno and made an appt. When I disscussed switching hormones she said" whats wrong with what you're on?" When I explained to her my reasons for switching she was not very supportive. This would have never taken place if i had not read this book. Sunny made me laugh as well as open my mind to whats going on out there. Thank you Sunny!
