2.0 out of 5 stars What is The Increment and why is this the title?, Nov 5 2009
By A. Damian (Zurich, Switzerland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Increment (Hardcover)
With apologies to the writer, fully understanding how difficult it is to string together words in a pleasing and coherent manner this book is a disappointment. Perhaps it's my lack of imagination and insight but I don't understand the title. Is it about this mysterious British spy team? If that's the case why only have them make a cursory appearance? Overall I found the characters flat, the plot weak and the writing awkward and boring. On the upside this will make a terrific mediocre Hollywood movie of the month. The script is already drafted, just get rid of the big words. Lame!
