I am a collector of oracle decks and so consider myself as something of an expert. To be honest I wasn't expecting these cards to be so well done. Not only are they beautifully rendered with gold leafing on the sides and original artwork that truly evokes the mythology of Ancient Britain, but they are incredibly accurate as an oracle system. Colette Baron-Reid has obviously put a lot of thought into them and her background as intuitive counselor shows through her words in the accompanying booklet. I encourage anyone who is interested in exploring their lives in a mystical way to buy these cards! You can try them out for free on the authors members lounge on her website. I bought them after trying them a few times on the site.
I am now going to buy them as gifts for all my friends this Christmas.

Visually, these are beautiful cards, no doubt about it. However, they do not follow the traditional tarot deck format. That is, you will not find the familiar Major and Minor Arcana cards, nor will you find the traditional court cards either. Also, though they aren't nearly as large as some decks out there, they're still a little too large (for me, at least) to get a grip on comfortably. As a result, they tend to get more "stress" during the shuffling process, than my other decks. As a result, I haven't used them much and don't expect to either, but this is just personal choice. If you're expecting a traditional tarot deck this isn't the one for you, but if you're a collector of lovely decks in search of something new to add to your collection, you will certainly be enchanted by the beautiful colours and images.
