Product Description

Ian Rankin's new book Complaints is a must read. We were all sad to see Rebus retire and somewhat disappointed with Rankin's new cop in Doors Open, which was a serialised book written for the New York Times and read that way. Rankin has created a brand new character, Malcolm Fox who unlike Rebus doesn't drink anymore. He is a member of the Complaints and Conduct department in Edinburgh's police force, which investigates wrongdoing by his colleagues. As someone who lived in Edinburgh I appreciate Rankin's writing which continues to paint a lovely but sometimes gritty picture of the city's locales. In true Ian Rankin fashion the book is a real page turner.
