4.0 out of 5 stars Stepsister, Nov 24 2003
This review is from: Stepsister (Mass Market Paperback)
This book I just couldn't put down, it is so good and makes you want to keep reading. I am the type of person that's hates reading but there was something about this book. It is the way the author uses his words it is a suspenseful book. I recommend this book to people that are not looking for a long dramatic book but one that states all the facts. It is a fun book to talk about to your friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Someone wants Emily dead but who?, Jun 21 2003
By Vivian (Dublin, California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stepsister (Mass Market Paperback)
Stepsister is a great book.Everything about it was suspense. In the story Emily's new stepsister moves into her room.Ever since bad things have been happening to Emily. On the first day Jessie "accidentally" ripped off Emily's teddy bears head. Things kept getting worse.Jessie wants Emily dead, badly. Or is it someone else?Emily is scared to death of her own stepsister. Her sister Nancy tries to help Emily. But one day the family went on a camping trip and Nancy disappears. Next thing you know Emily is in an open grave.Someone was trying to kill her with an ax.Who was it? Read the book to find out. I recommend this book to thrill lovers and also mystery lovers.

"The Stepsister" was the first R. L. Stine book I ever read. Strangely, I never read any of his books when I was a kid. I suppose even then I couldn't tolerate them. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars It was okay
