This monotonous tone makes it difficult for the uninitiated to follow without serious concentration. Davidson's Undead series has gained a loyal group of fans who will be eager for all the dish from the queen herself. Turns out sibs will be sibs, dead or undead. They've just been around a little longer, can only go out at night, but nevertheless manage to have hot vampire sex. (Sorry, not with each other.)

How is Betsy going to tell the warmhearted, churchgoing, innocent Laura that her birth mother was the devil, and that Laura may be on the path to world domination? Subplots involving a fiend named George, a baby shower, and a wedding keep the action perking along. Readers who love the sassy, foul-mouthed Queen of the Undead will enjoy this latest installment. What a uniquely different novel this one is. I have not read her other works, but I will now. This is fantasy based kind of a little bit of reality-another words, too funny.
You will thoroughly enjoy this one.
Other recommendations in the romance genre are: Fire In The Ice by Katlyn Stewart and Full Bloom by Janet Evanovich

I love this series. Everytime a new title gets out, it takes me a while before given in and bying it but so far it's been worth it. The author as a great way of telling the story and her humour and sarcastic wit is always dead on.
