4.0 out of 5 stars Another Peter David gem, Nov 3 2009
By W. G. Holowka - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Tigerheart (Hardcover)
I have been a fan of Peter David's writing from his run on the Incrdible Hulk to Howling Mad to Star Trek to Sir Apropos and so forth. It is an interesting concept to make a sequel to Peter Pan but Peter David does a good job of it. Although he uses different names (out of respect for the original works), I liked Captain Hack (ax instead of a hook), Gwenny (Wendy) and other slight variants to the orignal. The story starts off a little slow but picks up the pace as you read. Peter does a good job of giving the book a Victorian feel as well. I am reading this book to my 4 and 6 year old boys now since one loves tigers and the other loves pirates.
