I listened to the audiobook recording for Linda Howard's book Loving Evangeline and I really liked it and thought that Evangeline (Evie) and Robert were good characters even though I felt that sometimes Robert was too harsh and mean but I liked the story and liked the blend of romance and suspense. I watched the Harlequin move on WE and I actually liked it, I actually saw the movie first so I think I was able to enjoy both the book and movie on their ownrights without comapring them too much. Yes they changed the story in the movie a little bit like the location, Evie wasn't from the south and they added some characters and they made Robert a little less ruthless but I still enjoyed it and also this abridged audiobook recording and I'm thinking of buying and reading the whole paperback book.
