Gr. 3^-5, younger with adult help. Children as well as their teachers will like this book, which is filled with homespun ideas well within the grasp of elementary-graders comfortable using scissors, tape, and glue. The masks, costumes, and decorations included are made largely of paper products, with an occasional pie plate, dowel rod, or cotton ball thrown in. There are a few diagrams to show cutting lines, etc., but kids will have to rely mostly on the written instructions, which are, for the most part, clear, and on the full-color photo of the finished project that accompanies each description. Projects are indexed by material.
