Product Description

Ingram

In a vivid dream in 1996, Mary Summer Rain had a visitation from a radiant being she sensed was an archangel. He gave what amounts to an address on the "state of the human soul, " the prophetic consequences of humanity's present course of action. This discourse is our wake-up call, a plea to stop the precipitous slide toward disaster for ourselves, our planet, our children--before it's too late.

3.0 out of 5 stars Thought Provoking, Oct 3 2004
As a devout catholic, some of the ideas presented in the book provoked the teachings that was thought to me in church. It is thought-provoking and does contain a detailed explanation of each of the ten commandments. Although I do not agree with all of her thoughts, I think most of them are reasonable and make sense. I recommend this book to be read since it does contain some information that is valuable to all. However, I do warn those devout catholics that this book contains some ideas that go against some of the teachings that we were taught. It is your decision whether to accept it and integrate it to your life or whether to think of it as a mere opinion of an author.

Honestly, I do not know what to think. She presents some interestign thoughts but of course, I do have some skeptism. Maybe later in my life I will find out if all her words speak true but for now, I am skeptical but will heed some of the ideas that she presented in this book.

Now here's the truth, finally! This book confirmed what I already knew in my heart but had been taught quite differently as a kid. Read with an open mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elating!, Jan 26 2002
By A Customer
Words cannot describe how you will feel when you are "loosened" from the ever tightening bonds of man made religion and back into the hands of your Creator. No writer has ever touched me the way Mary Summer Rain has, right down to my soul. I struggle now to find her books that are out of print that I just must get my hands on! I feel any message of hers is humble and heartfelt and worth reading over and over again. Each time you re-read them, you will find something there that you did not recall. Bottom Line-she portrays a world we all want and yearn for and instills us with hope that we will, one day, reach just that.
