1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth my time!, Sep 22 2000
By "lory22" (Rainier, Oregon USA) - See all my reviews
As a recovering addict, I feel this approach to be a quater messure at best and only treating a part of the disease. Unless I treat all the disease I can not recover. If I could give this book no stars I would.

5.0 out of 5 stars A therapeutic approach to recovery that really works!, Jun 3 2000
By A Customer
As a chemical dependency therapist in a residential treatment program, I have been using the method outlined in Mr. Althauser's book for the past two years. Clients love the "therapeutic goals" approach because it's personal, meaningful, empowering, simple and (best of all) it really works! If you are working with, affected by, or interested in chemical dependency, do yourself a favor and read this book.
