3.0étoiles sur 5 Better than Bachelor List, Janv. 21 2007
I didn't particularly like The Bachelor's List. I'll say that now, so you'll understand why it's important that I actually liked Bride Hunt. It'll never be among my favorites, but this book was easy enough to read and relatively interesting.

Prue and Gideon quickly proved an explosive pair. I don't know that I found them especially well suited, but their arguments were interesting. Gideon's daughter could have been a more important character and Lord Duncan (Prue's father) could have been very much expanded on. The other sisters were present through nearly the entire novel, yet were pointless for the most part. They had little or nothing to do with anything that was happening. Con seemed to be 'Hi, remember me? I was the first book' while Chas was simply there to say 'Keep reading! There's one book left'.

5.0étoiles sur 5 Gideon and Prudence-SPOILERS, Mai 31 2004
Par Amanda Brooks (Los Angeles, CA USA) - Voir tous mes commentaires
(REAL NAME)
Favorite scene with Prudence-
Going through her dad's private stuff at the bank to find evidence.

Favorite scene with Gideon-
When Prudence returns to his chambers to confront him for his attitude towards her
and the case.

Together-
Their first dinner together at the supper club.

What did you like about Prudence-
Her stubborness and strength. Her smarts. She was the logical one. She dug deep
to help her father.

What didn't you like about Prudence-
Expected Gideon to make his ex feel welcomed. Why would she want him to treat
her with kindness after she left him?

What did you like about Gideon-
Falling for Prudence. He was a brilliant lawyer.

What didn't you like about Gideon-
I didn't like that he didn't like talking about certain things and shut Prudence out.
Things seemed to be only on his terms.

4.0étoiles sur 5 Found this entertaining!, Mai 21 2004
Par Un client
I was in an airport and picked up The Bride Hunt. I found it a very enjoyable read - plot is predictable, but a few twists kept me interested.
