William Dufris returns as narrator for Book Four of this series as Bobby Pendragon continues his search for the evil Saint Dane. On Veelox, he discovers that the population has become absorbed in a virtual reality machine that lets each person live in his or her private dream world. Bobby needs to stop Saint Dane from exploiting the weakness inherent in this world. Durfris's portrayals of the main characters are dynamic. He reflects Bobby's growing confidence, Courtney's crisis in confidence, and haughty Saint Dane's growing strength. Dufris makes good use of pace and timing as he punctuates the suspense and intensity of the plot. J.E.M. © AudioFile 2005, Portland, Maine--
