Product Description

The James Patterson, first person style of writing makes a colorful imprint in this Maximum Ride novel told from the point of view of Max, a female bird kid, leader of her "flock" of talented mutants, DNA crosses between a human and bird with genetic tweaking for superhero capabilities. Max has an adolescent rebelliousness and daring do with a flippant and irreverent attitude toward authority and the rules. The "flock" becomes engaged in a desperate battle when Max's "mother" becomes the victim of a ruthless conglomerate of powerful business interests out to destroy CSM, a group dedicated to saving the environment. Max's amorous escapades with Nudge become an added highlight to the story.The Griffon Trilogy: Part I
