3.0 out of 5 stars A little disappointing at the conclusion, Dec 26 2007
This review is from: Tell It To The Skies (Paperback)
Much as I enjoyed this book for a "light read" over Christmas, I was somewhat disappointed with the last few chapters. The first two thirds of the book were intriguing as we learned about Lydia and her youth. The remainder of the book seemed to be written in a hurry and did not seem logical. Considering Noah (warning: POSSIBLE SPOILER) lived and breathed for this women, his explanation for why he failed to find her in 20 or so years was utterly implausible and out of character. This part of the book also lacked the passion between the two main characters that was so wonderfully evident at the beginning. Sadly, I was itching to get to the end of the book as I wanted it to be over. It seemed to me that the plot drove the characters rather than the characters the plot.
