Product Description

From Amazon.co.uk

Dancing in My Nuddy Pants takes up Georgia Nicolson's tale of red bottomosity, continuing her diary just the day after the third instalment, Knocked Out by My Nunga-Nungas. The Ace gang and the Bummers make strong appearances alongside the essential Sex God (SG) and Dave the Laugh, while little sister Libby has the most laugh-out-loud moments. A school trip to Paris with "gorgey Henri" is one highlight of the winter months, even resulting in Georgia coming top in French. However, her attitude to school and boys remains the same as ever:
8.00 pm I am so worried about school. I have so much to do tomorrow. 8.10 pm I can do my nails and foundation and eye stuff during RE--Miss Wilson won't notice ... But I suppose even she might notice if I took my curling tongs into class...
We are introduced to some new concepts, such as the "General Horn" and the "Cosmic Horn" (from the one and only Dave the Laugh, who of course gave us "nunga-nungas" and "nippy noodles"); learn about unplanned pregnancy with Angus' "trouser snake addendums" and Naomi the sex kitten (literally); ponder whether it is better to love someone for their maturiosity or their lip-nibbling; and reluctantly make a stand for the less popular girls.

This instalment of Georgia's diary is "THE OFFICIAL AND PROPER END PROBABLY". All that any fan of Georgia's is likely to say when they hear this is "Erlack", and beg Louise Rennison for more hilariosity. --Olivia Dickinson --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From School Library Journal

Grade 7-9-Fans of this self-absorbed teen won't be disappointed in this latest installment of her journal, which contains more of the same humor and detailed observations of the minutiae of adolescent life found in the first three books. However, the teen's total "shallowosity" can be somewhat tiresome. By the fourth book, one might hope for growth of her character, along with her "nunga-nungas" (breasts). Plot-wise, this book picks up where the last one left off. Georgia is still in love with Robbie, the SG (sex god), but is increasingly confused by her feelings for Dave-the-Laugh. Temporary distractions include her cat Angus impregnating a feline across the road, a class trip to Paris, and being made captain of the hockey team. But-"sadnosity"-at novel's end, the SG is off to Kiwi-a-gogo land (New Zealand) to work on an ecological farm. Georgia will be left alone with Dave-the-Laugh. Clearly, further confessions are on the way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marvy and double cool with knobs, July 8 2004
By A Customer
These books are so great. Louise Rennison has continued to make me laugh every time I turn the page. It is nearly impossible to not put yourself in Georgia's shoes. I have read them all except for Away Laughing on a Fast Camel. I'm sure I will read it soon though. I hope Louise Rennison comes up with new ones soon! I would recommend these books to almost anyone, and I hope more people discover them.

5.0 out of 5 stars another laugh out loud hit from Rennison, Jun 1 2004
By Joy Boardman "Joy" (Stuarts Draft) - See all my reviews
Georgia is back and still funny :) I love these books and am so proud of Rennison for delivering sequals that are as funny, and in the case of the 2nd book On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of A Sex God funnier, sequals. One of my favorite scenes from this book is when Georgia's brain is racing because she is having coffee with her sex god and she is trying to avoid the santa claus mustache effect by drinking "like a hampster at Hammy's" .... yet another classic, go Rennison!

3.0 out of 5 stars Nuddy Pants, May 21 2004
By Sashie (CA, United States) - See all my reviews
I cant decide if I want to give this book three or four stars. Compared to other young adult books it deserves four, but as part of Rennison's series I would only give it a measly three.
It is more serious than the rest, and I only laughed a total of three times as opposed to several laughs per page in the first instalment. The books in this series have been gradually getting worse and worse.
Hopefully with the near release of 'Away Lauging On A Fast Camel' the un-answered questions in 'Nuddy Pants' will be answered. Plus there has been a slight break between the release of 'Nuddy Pants' and 'Away Lauging' hopefully giving Rennison time to think of more ideas.
All in all it wasnt a bad book, but it didnt shine like some of its predecessors.
