Charles O Goulet has a very good style and taste for writing. This book, The Venturers, is a historical novel. Charlie has researched his information extensively and has added a wonderful story...the story of The Marins, a young couple from France willing to test their fate in Acadia. This novel is the first in a continuation of this family. I like the ending to this story/book...similar to "Who shot JR?" I highly recommend this novel...an excellent read. Gerry.
