Having read the first three books in the series and loving them, this final book in the Hot Zone series was a big disappointment. The romance was missing IMO, the lead female character did not come across as being in the least bit appealing and even Roper, who I enjoyed in previous books, was blah! There really didn't appear to be any chemistry between the two of them. Not only that, but the same thoughts, feelings and emotions seemed to be regergitated ad nauseum in each chapter.

Really, the best thing about this book was the cover! All in all, I found the book a bore and a poor excuse for the final chapter in what I thought was a good series.
