I have not read this book, yet I felt that I should still make a correction here to a mistake in an earlier review posted here. The person stated that THE GRACIE ALLEN MURDER CASE had not been made into a movie. There indeed was a GRACIE ALLEN MURDER CASE movie. It was released in 1939 and here is the Internet Movie Database entry for it, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0031389/ . One thing worth noting is that George Burns was not asked to appear in the movie (I assume that he wasn't in the book either). It is one of the few (two or three?) movies Gracie Allen appeared in sans George.
