Meshell continues to enlighten me with her poetic words of lust and pain. This is a great Album with one word titles. You can't just listen to one song you have to hear what she is saying feel her love as well as her pain.

When I heard "Fool of Me" during the movie "Love & Basketball", I immediately knew that it was MeShell and rushed out to purchase this disc. BUT in my area the cd was not being sold for less than $20 so alas I let it sit until recently.

MeShell is a genius and through the years has become one of the greatest musician/artists of our time. Her voice is amazing and her songs are heartfelt. I have been a fan since buying "Plantation Lullabies" and will continue to be a fan of this dynamic woman.

This is in my opinion the perfect love album out there...well at least one of them!
It covers the ups and downs and even the in-betweens of what love is.
