5.0 out of 5 stars Uprising, May 28 2004
'Uprising' was the Wailers 8th album and the final one cut & released in Bob Marley's life. Besides the classic 'Could You Be Loved' and the beautiful stripped down 'Redemption Song', there's a lot of dramatic numbers here, and like their previous album 'Survival', Bob once again is brooding over more serious social issues & sharing his ideology. As a crew the Wailers made such important music and cut so many classic albums, what a talent Bob Marley was to lose. Who knows what he could have gone on to do. This guy really touched the world & made some incredible music, and 'Uprising' is another Must Own album from his collection. R.I.P.

5.0 out of 5 stars His Music lives on forever..., May 15 2004
By Justin Allen (Cadiz, KY) - See all my reviews
This is what I call "default" Marley. This is a collection of great songs, just what you would expect. "Redemption Song" shines on here, every song is a gem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable, Jan 27 2004
By James Taylor (Gainesville) - See all my reviews
Now more than ever, people understand through these newly released remastered albums how Bob Marley is one of if not the greatest singer to ever live. He is the only artist I know that every album he creates can lift you up when you are not feeling sharp. Songs such as Coming in from the Cold and Could this be love are so captivating, it is almost hard to express it. Bob Marley is the only artist ever who has never released a bad song.
