It is actually significantly cheaper to purchase "Friends - The Complete First Seven Seasons (7-Pack)" from Amazon than it is to purchase this set.

This is my most favorite sitcom. I do not usually like comedy but this one suits me very well. I can see why some people wouldn't like it. However, it fits my personality very well.
In a way Monica, Rachel, Phoebe ( the girls. ) Ross, Chandler, and Joe ( the guys. ) Have a yin and yang relationship to each other.
Some times the story lines do get dull and they really are dragged out. However, on a whole this is one of my favorite series.
Really good comedy for most of the seasons.

I love Friends, it is a wonderful sitcom and it ranks right up there with classic sitcoms like I Love Lucy, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Taxi, Three's Company, etc and I love that the seasons are being put out on DVD. I just wish buying several Friends seasons in one package had been an option when I first started buying the complete seasons of Friends on DVD. if you are just starting to buy the complete seasons of Friends on DVD then I very highly recommend buying them together in a pack instead of individually!

The series holds it's own. The extras are great and it's fun to see the unabridged episodes (not in syndication and chopped down for commercials sake), once again.
