After what I thought was a slow and tedious start, this show develops into nice sci-fi franchise. The writing is good, and tucked away in Vancouver the show develops without a lot of interference from Fox. Acting and character development are good, making it easy to suspend disbelief and go along for the ride. Good chemistry between the actors; the intellectual rivalry between Mallory and the Professor, the supportive but very feminine Wade, and some of the things they put the Crying Man through just make me want to cry!
A good show. Quality entertainment.

It was great watching the Sliders series again on DVD. For years I was wondering why it never made it into reruns. The show eventually lost it's appeal with changes in cast, etc. (I think they tried to make it appeal to a younger audience and of course ruined it's originality), but it still remains one of the least known yet best sci-fi shows ever for me!

I found some sources on the net which suggest that season-three of the hit show Sliders will be releasing on DVD on July 19, 2005 =] EXCELLENT! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! BUY BUY BUY!!! Looks wicked on DVD dude! =]
