Synopsis
Settle into the best seats in the house as conductor Riccardo Muti leads the Orchestra e Coro del Teatro La Fenice in performing the works of Ludwig van Beethoven, Igor Stravinski, Antonio Caldara, and Richard Wagner in a concert staged to celebrate the gala re-opening of the Teatro La Fenice. Sopranos Patrizia Ciofi and Sara Allegretta, mezzo-sopranos Sonia Ganassi and Sara Mingardo, tenors Roberto Sacca and Mirko Guadagninl, and basses Michele Pertusi and Nicolas Rivenq contribute their vocal talents to breathtaking renditions of Overture "Die Weihe des Hauses" op. 124, "Symphonie de psaumes", "Te Deum", and "Kaisermarsch - Huldigungsmarsch". ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
