Description

In a distant galaxy, the world of Thundera is in crisis. The planet's structure has become unstable and is near collapse. With their destruction imminent, Thundera's denizens--known as the Thundercats--escape in a spaceship and plot a course for a new home. While in transit, the Thundercats are attacked by evil mutants and their craft is irreparably damaged. Jaga, the eldest Thundercat, sacrifices himself in order to pilot the ship safely to its destination: Third Earth.

Having been born in the early 80's of course my favorite cartoon was the Thundercats. Even though I was young I loved them and always watched the reruns and still watch the few episodes that my mother was smart enough to tape for me and my younger brothers. However our tapes are so overused from being rewound and thundercats being watched over and over. I even have the Thundercats sticker album, with most of the stickers!!!!

Excellent DVD set. I watched the T.V. series now my 8 year old son and his cousin are watching. Drawn a lot better than some of today's cartoons. (I am still watching them) Now if they would only put the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon series on DVD....

I was born in the 80's and as such only ever saw reruns of thundercats. Even so i realized how amazing a show it was and really felt the need to go and buy this dvd set. I was originally worried about animation quality because it was made 20 years ago. I can say i am utterly shocked at the amazing quality of the animation the plot and the acting. I would recommend this dvd set to anyone who enjoys cartoons and is definitley a must buy!
