I always loved this series when I was a teenager, and previously bought the first 2 seasons when they came out on DVD. Thankfully, Universal has moved away from the terrible 2-sided discs that plagued earlier seasons with problems. However, even though season 3 has no technical issues, it sure looks like Universal scrimped on this one. The packaging is virtually identical to season 2, and the discs themselves offer nothing in the way of extras. Even worse, the discs have plain white labelling with no pictures or anything else typical to DVD releases, and the on-screen menus look totally generic -- they don't even have the name of the series shown anywhere.

I have heard that these episodes have the wrong opening titles and theme music, but I can't confirm that. The picture and sound quality is fine, and the episodes seem complete and uncut. So no real complaints, but I wish Universal would make an effort to let us think they care when they release these older series.
