This 'outlaw' couple and their efforts to stay out of trouble for being able to claim amnesty is most enjoyable to watch. The stories and the characters Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry are most amusing, playful and easy-going, just the right thing to relax after a hard day's work :)

I am hoping the remaining seasons will be available soon.

For almost thirty years, whenever asked what my favourite show is/was, I've always answered AS&J. I was very nervous when I bought the DVD that after so long, it would not hold up, and my memories would be proven time-corrupted ... but, I enjoyed it thoroughly with tears of joy and nostalgia (and some sadness, thinking about Pete and what could have been). The stories hold up very well, and are so absolutely entertaining, that I spent two lovely weeks watching one episode each night. Not only are Pete and Ben great, but all of the support actors, many of them legends, do such an excellent job (Slim Pickens is great) contributing to the panoramic Western tabacky spittin' atmosphere.
My only regret with the DVDs was the audio commentary bonus feature with writer/creator/producer Glen Larson. The commentary is mostly Larson chuckling to himself at the funny lines, making well known generalizations about the real Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid and the Hole in the Wall gang, and unnecessarily echoing the plot of the pilot episode as it happens (Larson says "On time" as the station master writes "On time" on the board) - I mean come on, he must have had some insights about the making of the show, about the actors, or about the TV series after the pilot.
