Maude is a brilliant comedy starring the magnificent Bea Arthur and a wonderful supporting cast. Maude is loud, out spoken and fantastically dramatic. Comedy at its finest. Amazon's price is a bit extreme, I bought this a few months ago but just found it at my local grocery store for less than half the price and Amazon has no price matching. Best to look around before shopping online of course. Nevertheless, a brilliant comedy that is still funny to this day.

Can you remember Maude?
A single character that spun from the Archie Bunker in ALL IN THE FAMILY.
This is one of the most funny TV series ever made! (in my humble opinion)It is the anti-MTM (mary Tyler Moore). A strong central woman character with the best one-liners and delivery of them.
If you liked Maude. You'll love this collection.
If you want to know more about Maude, like in-depth interviews and special features.
You won't find it.
This is an item for MAUDE lovers and seekers.
ENJOY!
It's been a long time coming.
Can't wait for the next seasons to come out!

As a fan who remember when this show was first on the air, (I was five at the time)I knew it was only a matter of time before Maude was released. It seems the "All In The Family" spin offs where being released as quickly as fans demanded them. Maude I believe will the final one as to the spinoff family. I was hoping there would be more to the DVD than just episodes. There isn't.

Don't get me wrong. It's great to remember and enjoy the episodes especially where Esther Rolle, "Florida" is in the scene and steals it away from Bea Arthur. But I was hoping for "Special Features" cast comments, etc. There aren't any. If you want to DVD that's just pure episodes you found it. But if you're looking for interviews with Bea or Norman Lear you'll be as disappointed as I was.

It's still worth picking up.
