I have gotten both parts of the first season.

The DVD is well packaged and the images look like they could have been shot yesterday (they cars etc give it away).

What a wonderful cast .. you can tell they knew this was an important show, and it shows in the depth of acting. I hope it last the entire series; I'm worried that the "real life" of the world back then will ruin it -- but they are playing wonderful characters here.

I have been playing it on my BluRay player and it is just a touch grainy, but this was shot originally to be not shown on a screen, likely no bigger then 26"; so I am being very fussy. 8 out of 10, so very good still.

There was a movie recently called Mod Squad -- they interpreted the series as being something like Charles Angels. Big mistake; this series was based on depth and the characters being strong -- I doubt they could have changed the cast and kept the chemistry going. The only way to do a modern version would have been to find actors of depth -- and I would think unknowns.

This series is terrific as they (so far) cannot duplicate or improve on it.

This is and always was one of my most favourite TV shows. A one of a kind show, there is no possible way to duplicate this show. I watched this show faithfully when it aired on TV, and now to have it on DVD, is the ultimate best. More seasons would be extremely nice to have.
