This series is fantastic! It's based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, which I haven't actually read, but if the show is an indication of how good her books are then I will have to start reading them! This series is packed with drama and suspense. Every episode leaves you dieing for the next one to come along.

The series has many smaller story lines inside of one big one. The first is about little Jenny who's trying to fit into the rich popular crowd, despite being younger and not owning all the expensive clothes. The second story line is about Dan, Jenny's older brother, and his relationship with Serena. And the third is the drama between Serena and Blaire after Blaire finds out the before Serena left town she slept with Nate, Blaires boyfriend. Finally there is also a plot involving Rupert, Dan and Jenny's dad, and Lilly, Serena's mom. And Chuck, the player, also adds a lot to the story as it gets more and more complicated.

Of course all this drama leads to even more drama and it all interconnects to make one of the best series's ever! With so many surprises and great characters this show will have you hooked!

It's funny how much I love the DVD of this DVD. I found it catchy, great colours and the DVDs are great.

But the show itself is so-so. I'm not here to review the show, it has been made a couple of times.

The DVD features are always great, we start by the classic unaired scences which, some, are more fun unaired.

The Gag Reel isn't that much funny, but it's a smile or too.

I loved the Feature "The Beginning, XOXO: Concept to Execution" which we show the making of the show from the book to the show.

Follow-up by the audio book of the original book by the author of Gossip Girl, read by Christina Ricci.

I loved the features more than the show. But the show itself is worth a try.

My girlfriend loves this series and forced me to watch it. I have got to say it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Kinda cheesy but it is a teen girl drama. To all the guys out there if your girlfriend wants you to watch this don't grone just bare through it and you might be surprised.
