I'm not sure about family fun for younger kids unless you mind the odd innocent swearword. I never saw the show Father Ted until I went to the UK, it's hilarious fun loving stuff. It never gets boring even if you watch it over and over which sadly you will probably do as they only made 3 seasons before "Father Ted" died. What a shame. Love it, love it, love it and highly reccommend. If you are a fan of British comedy, this is the BEST! P.S. I think its unfair to rate this "one star" if it was because of an amazon shipping problem, not because you've seen the show and dislike it. Give amazon 1 star and 5 to Father Ted!!!!

This series is good family fun. It's funny and silly, and irrelivent, and my children love it. It's typical british humour, so don't expect American 'Three's Company' style laughs, nor is it terribly intelligent humour, BUT it's good to watch for a pick-me-up, or family night television. In essence, it's good, silly fun, and if you have to leave the room for five minutes, when you come back, you can still follow the plot.
