Victoria Winters makes a startling discovery near the ocean that will question her loyalties to the Collins' Family. At the Collinsport Inn, young David Collins visits Burke Devlin and insists that his father murdered Bill Malloy. Burke Devlin returns David to Collinwood and uses his visit as an excuse to make an offer to Elizabeth Collins to buy Collinwood.

Dark Shadows the beginning - volume 3 has many twists and turns, the story line of Bill Malloy heats up and gets the ball rolling as Roger Collins seeks his innocence and Burke Devlin will not lighten up on his plans to take control of all of the Collins family interests. David plays a cruel trick on Victoria and locks her in the closed section of Collinwood where she is visited by the Ghost of Bill Malloy.
