Still basically watchable, but several steps down from the first season. A much less inspired rehash of the elements of the first season. They've upped the outrageousness factor even further, to compensate for a lack of impetus in the writing and storytelling, rendering it less funny and less meaningful. But if you enjoyed the first season, and liked the characters as much as I did, you may still enjoy spending time with them in the second season. Therefore, rent, do not buy. I made the mistake of buying it and it ain't worth it. The first season is the one to own, this is the one to rent.

Naughty and irreverent you can't help loving Hank. This season is even better than Season 1. I love seeing David Duchovny in this lusty, fun loving role - such a change from Mulder (although those eyes that twinkle with amusement were often part of Mulder's personna when he was misbehaving). The entire cast is great!

Definitely not for the prudish though - be prepared for nudity, sex, swearing and plenty of drug use.
