Walker has made a mess of his personal life, with an estranged wife and kids who still want him back, and with a growing gap between himself and Pat, after a trauma has shattered their lives. But behind their stiff upper lips, both Walker and North are on the verge of breaking down--despite their tough exteriors. And there are still extreme crimes to be solved. Skeletons of young women are unearthed at a former bed and breakfast inn in a leafy neighborhood, and even after nearly two decades, there are more than enough plausible suspects as Walker and his team slowly dig into the past--literally and figuratively. Other discs in the set follow the sordid doings at a secret sex club, a serial rapist and murderer who may or may not be mentally ill, and even the grisly internal politics of Britain's judicial system. Trial & Retribution 2 follows the story of a criminal from the first murder to the verdict in court.
A serial killer is stalking women in London, torturing them and then murdering them. When suspects are arrested the police face a difficult task to get to the bottom of the mystery.
