One of the important works available on the history of geomancy, Ambelain has written a truly valuable resource for occultists and religious historians. This book is only available in French and the sentence sturcture makes it difficult to translate, but it is worth the time. This is certainly by no means the only source one ought to consult on the history of geomancy (Robert Jaulin's La Geomancie: Analyse formelle is also a key source), but it is certainly one of the better ones.
