    Office Maverick Shipping Policies

    All shipping charges are to be paid by the customer for all orders or returned items or defective products. Any exceptions where the weight of the order is beyond the normal standards imposed by the courier companies, bulk freight transport charges will be quoted to the customer for each order. Furniture orders will need to be shipped by truck and quoted for transport rates, unless the item is small enough to be shipped by courier. We ship same day for in stock items when orders are confirmed by 3 PM. We ship using UPS, Purolator, Federal Express, Fedex Ground depending on the area and item. We reserve the right not to ship to remote rural areas of Canada such as the Territories, Nunavut, PEI and parts of Newfoundland due the cost of shipping and courier restrictions.  Unfortunately at this present time the couriers do not ship to PO boxes. 

    Shipping charges are non refundable and restocking charges are applicable to orders returned after properly being shipped and not picked up at courier depots or if no redelivery arrangements are made with the courier companies. Customers are automatically sent tracking info by email by Amazon and tracking information for each order is also saved in your Amazon account. The customer is responsible for looking out for their parcels once this order tracking email is sent, to contact the courier companies if the parcels are undeliverable or late.

    To return defective goods you need to advise us of a defective product by email, for some  items we will require a serial number. We will issue a RA (Return Authorization) number. We will also send you a specific return to address information. On the returns package you need to clearly indicate the RA number and the From to address and Return to address the identical way it was sent to you in the RA approval email. RA numbers have a time limit, failing to respect this time return limit, forfeits your right to be able to return the item. Failing to follow these instruction will be cause for the returned item to be refused. Not having the RA number clearly indicated on the outside of the package - will also be cause for the refusal of the parcel - no credits will be given for returns of shipping charges. Most products,(with the exception of pens, batteries,light bulbs, toner cartridges, ink cartridges or any other printer, copier, fax or multifunction machines and imaging supplies) can be returned within 10 business days from the date on the invoice. All items being returned must be unused and in their original packaging. We now require separate electronic photos of the items and packaging. All returns must be approved by our returns department and assigned a return authorization number. All products being returned are shipped at the customers expense. All defective items returned will be fully credited less all original shipping fees incurred on the original purchase invoice, once it is confirmed that all damages are from a manufacturers defect. Any returns sent back to Office Maverick that do not follow the above criteria will be refused and sent back.
