Pour tout néophyte ce livre est vraiment intéressant, plein d'illustrations avec de bonnes explications. On y relate l'origine, le développement à travers les années, les symboles, légendes, valeurs, etc. Survol de l'histoire des franc-macons complète et instructive. Très bon achat, il gagne à être lu.

For all newbie, this book is really interesting, full of illustrations with good explanations. We found the origin, the development through the years, the symbols, the legends, their values, etc. Flying over the history of freemasons complete and instructive. Good value!

Livre ne livrant pas la marchandise! Abondamment illustré mais manquant de texte , de descriptions et d'explications.. n'est qu'un survol plus que general sans développements. Extrêment décevant, ne vaut pas son prix.

Book doesn't deliver the merchandise! Highly illustrated but missing a lot of texts, descriptions and explanations... it is only a big general fly on the symbols without developments. Extremely disappointing, it doesn't worth its price! If you are really interested about the symbols, I highly recommand this book: from France is: Le dictionnaire des symboles (dictionary of symbols) by Jean Chevalier and Alain Gheerbrant.

Keith DeCandido is my favourite Supernatural related books writer (his Evermore is truly a excellent novel) and, thanks to Heart of the Dragon, he still will be... The main idea to write a story divided between three different periods of time (the early 70's, the late 80's and the present-day 2010) using the whole Winchester family (from Sam & Dean, then their late father to their mother and her parents... and the indispensable Bobby) is clearly an awesome one.
Slight and only drawback : the novel is quite too short ... such a story would have deserved a longer book if not a trilogy of books to really and totally explore the subject...
I highly recommand that novel to all Supernatural fans.

The book is really a pocket encyclopedia, so most of its pictures are ridiculously small-sized and so the recaps. We shall understand the fact which otherwise we should buy the equivalent of the Encyclopedia Britannica. In spite of that, this book is really awesome and thanks to it, we are able to travel all over the world and thru' History at the same time. I really appreciate the fact that the book is based chronologically in order of date of entrance to the world heritage. Great value and addition to our library !

En achetant ce livre, je m'attendais à trouver un genre d'encyclopédie décrivant l'histoire de chaque pirate célèbre... pas très satisfaisant sous cet angle car ca se lit comme une réunion de pirates racontant brièvement leurs propres exploits romancés... ce qui laisse un doute quant à sa crédibilité des faits réels. Sur ce bof..

Après avoir dévoré les 4 tomes de Twilight, celui-ci parait superficiel meme si on y retrouve le style d'écriture de l'auteure. La vie de Bree aurait pu être plus développée et riche, c'est comme si l'auteur avait remis le livre trop tôt. J'aurais aimé également plus de développement sur le personnage de Fred car il détient un nouveau don et malgré le nouveau incident concernant les Volturi, dans la saga, il n'y a aucune mention, donc fait nouveau sans développement, ce qui laisse une sensation de vide. Ne vous privez pas de lire cette nouvelle pour ceux qui sont nostalgique de la saga mais conservez des attentes simples. En français, le livre est écrit tellement gros, qu'on se demande pourquoi payé tant pour une épaisseur vide!

I have loved so much the 4 books of Twilight saga, this one seems superficial even if we found in it the autor's style. The Bree's life haven't been enough developed and rich, as if the author had handed the book too early. Also, I would have liked more developments on Fred character because he owns a new gift and in spite of the new case about the Volturi, in the saga, we have no reference on it, so new fact without any development; that causes a feeling of emptiness. Don't hesitate to read this novel for those who are nostalgic of the saga but keep simple expectations.

Excellent thriller qui garde notre captivation, l'intrigue est excellente avec un suivi soutenu de rebondissements.... jusqu'à la fin qui est désastreuse; plus on avance, plus on veut voir la conclusion mais on se rend compte que le nombre de pages restantes diminue la perspective d'en avoir une et effectivement, aucune explication, près du but sans le résoudre... avec la merveilleuse mention 'à suivre'... j'ai des doutes de pouvoir conclure ma 'fin' (faim)
