Fantastic Story, Jan 29 2013
This book really is great, a must read for anyone. I will spare the synopsis as there are already many here and will keep it simple. Engaging characters, wonderful story, full of emotion and life. An easy read but also makes you think. Would recommend this book to anyone looking for a well written fiction read.

Cute book!, Jan 29 2013
My son really likes this book along with the touch and feel patches. My only complaint is that he ripped the binding pretty easily, wish it was a bit more of a durable build for little hands.

Excellent Timed Workout, Jan 29 2013
I have done quite a few videos (prenatal, jillian michaels, pilates, kathy smith, etc) and this is by far the BEST!! Excellent, easy to follow instructions, a non-irritating approach, great modifications if needed. After a few rounds of doing this regime I think it's fair to say most people could do it by memory or at a low volume. Perfect amount of time when you can't accommodate a long workout and I would say good for all levels of fitness, perhaps a little low key for someone in excellent shape. Would recommend this to anyone looking to incorporate some additional fat-burning strength training into their routine.

Seriously....?, Jun 9 2011
I purchased this DVD along with a few others based on customer reviews, I am 6 months pregnant. I cannot understand for the life of me why this one is rated so highly when there is so many better ones out there.... First the dancing.... although the idea is great and logically does a lot of good for the body, I found that this did absolutely nothing. I couldn't even work up a heat! Out of the other pilates and dynamic DVDs I have been doing I've been sweating and working without fatiguing which has already shown results. This one fell flat. I also found the people/ music/ visuals to be a little irritating. Nothing about it says, let's do this! So I went on to the yoga thinking maybe this would be better. The Yoga wasn't terrible.... but it certainly isn't great. If you are a fan of pilates or have done extensive yoga in your past, skip this, you won't enjoy it. Let me also mention that although I have always worked out, I have pounds to lose so I am by no means a fit exercise pro. The one redeeming portion of the Yoga was that it does incorporate some great age old yoga stances like warrior and does incorporate a good amount of core. In lieu of spending the money I will likely give the Yoga a chance at least a few more times.

Good Strengthening DVD, Jun 9 2011
I purchased this prenatal DVD along with a few others. I am about 6 months pregnant now and have been using this one for a couple of weeks, no more than once or twice a week with a variety of other manageable exercises. This DVD is a very good workout, there's no question. There is a lengthy warm-up, dynamic workout and then decent stretch at the end. The workout's total length is about 40 minutes but it feels shorter to me, maybe because you're too busy feeling the burn! I definitely work up a sweat on this one but not to the point of exhaustion which would be dangerous, this is definitely tailored to the pregnant body. My only complaint is that there is not a lot of core/arm toning. I find this to mostly focus on stretch and legs/ back (both insanely important during this time). I have moved toadding my own mini core routine and a few minutes of arm lifts after just to round it out a bit. There also aren't really any modifications so be prepared for a real workout!

Fantastic Prenatal DVD, Jun 2 2011
I am just shy of 6 months pregnant right now and have been looking for straight forward effective workouts to continue doing while pregnant. I purchased a few off of Amazon that had good reviews but was quickly let down as some were too fast, too irritating, too difficult with back pain, etc..... UNTIL THIS ONE! Not only is she extremely pleasing to workout with (unlike some very annoying workout DVD hosts) but the workouts are simple, effective and only take 10 minutes each. I have gotten into the habit of teaming 2 different workouts each session and then adding some walking or biking. If you are a busy individual but want to pack in a little punch when time permits, this is a great choice. I have done pilates in the past but it has been years and I am still able to keep up with this and follow the correct breathing/ techniques. WELL WORTH IT!!

Page Turner, Feb 23 2011
I read this book a little while ago, more than anything, further to the video attached to this book (I've yet to see that as a selling feature, I guess it works!). This book was a page turner for me from beginning to end and I had it finished within a few short days. The story is unique and haunting leaving the reader with a feeling of fear for young futures as well as hope for those that are brave. Without saying anything about the story itself, Room centres around the body of love and what it can bring an individual, more importantly a parent, to do to protect those loved ones. I loved this book despite necessary repetition and a somewhat predictable ending. Well worth the read!
