Loved "Loving What Is", April 17 2013
Ok, I’ll admit it. I don’t always "love" what is. I’m just not there yet. But this book has certainly helped me "accept" what is, and stop trying to alter the reality of "what is" by continually thinking about how it "should be." That only brings suffering, where acceptance brings peace. And who am I to say how things "should be" anyway? I highly recommend this book to anyone who is vainly fighting against an undesired circumstance. You will realize that it is not the job of the world to make you happy. That is something that has to come from within. Steven Lane Taylor, author of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat: A Guide for Living Life in the Divine Flow"

Right To The Heart Of The Matter, Dec 19 2012
I am a big fan of Marianne Williamson, and her latest book lives up to what I love about Marianne. Once again, she presents profound spiritual truths with a simplicity of expression that brings the most esoteric ideas down to earth. Here is a book that gets right to the heart of the matter concerning financial prosperity . . . and by heart, I mean the spirit of love that resides within each of us. As Marianne points out so eloquently, there is no more powerful way to achieve financial abundance than by simply being true to the love within you, and doing what love would have you do. I have read other books on manifesting money, but none that ring as true as this one. Four Stars for Four Purposes, Jan 10 2012
It has been awhile since I have read a book by Dan Millman. And I was reminded of what I love about his work. No matter how lofty the subject matter, Dan always has a simple, down-to-earth way of expressing himself. Here are some profound truths delivered in a way that anyone can understand and benefit from. 4 Stars Just For The Message, Mar 5 2011
Like Redfield''s first book, The Celestine Prophecy, I find the plot line of The Twelfth Insight to be improbable, and Redfield''s writing style simplistic. And yet, I still give this book four stars. Why? Because for the last 15 years, I have devoted myself to helping people understand that we are constantly being divinely directed, and if you know how to recognize and cooperate with that divine direction, life becomes much more fulfilling, joyful, and effortless. Any book - including The Twelfth Insight - that helps people realize that we are continually being guided, protected, and assisted by an Intelligence beyond our own, deserves at least four stars - just for the message alone. Expect to be uplifted!, Jan 26 2011
With the huge number of books that have already been written about the Law of Attraction, you might wonder what makes this book different. The answer is its author. Although there are a lot of authors who are considered to be experts on manifesting and conscious creation, few exhibit the unabashed excitement and enthusiasm that Kassie Wright has for this subject. You can't help but be uplifted by Kassie's charm, wit, and exuberant writing style. Enjoy! Steven Lane Taylor, Author of Row, Row, Row Your Boat: A Guide for Living Life in the Divine Flow

The Best of Both Worlds, July 17 2010
I have read a lot of inspirational books that did, indeed, inspire me, but they didn''t offer much in the way of practical application. I have also read some very practical 'how-to' books, but they didn''t really inspire me to take the actions that were recommended. And then there''s ACHIEVE ANYTHING IN JUST ONE YEAR. This book is not only full of helpful, actionable suggestions, but all 365 lessons are based on the truly inspirational thoughts, ideas, and teachings of some of the world''s most respected minds, such as Mark Twain, Goethe, Helen Keller, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Albert Einstein, Maya Angelou, and many, many more. If this book doesn''t motivate you to finally live your dreams and accomplish your goals, I don''t know what will. Discover The True You, April 9 2010
When I was 14 years old I had a spontaneous mystical experience that put me in touch with the True Essence of my Being. If only J. M. Harrison''s book had been around then! At that time, I had no vocabulary to adequately describe what I had experienced, but this book certainly could have done it for me. In language that is simple, yet poetic, Naked Being eloquently describes what our True Self is -- not body, not mind, but Eternal Consciousness, continually at one with All That Is. If you are on path of spiritual discovery, Harrison''s profound insights will add great depth and clarity to your journey. Why Meditate? Here's Why!, April 4 2010
I recommend this eloquently written book . . . but not because it tells you HOW to meditate. Frankly, it only does an average job of that. No, I recommend this book because it tells you WHY you should meditate . . . and it does that marvelously. In a manner that is both inspiring and informative, Joel Goldsmith makes it perfectly clear that the purpose of meditation is simply to achieve conscious contact with God, and in so doing, one automatically reaps the benefits of God's guidance and God's grace. Suddenly, instead of you living life, life lives you . . . and life becomes more fulfilling, more joyful, and on top of that, remarkably effortless. Now there's a reason to meditate! Not A Perfect Book, But An Important One, Sep 7 2009
This is not a perfect book. The dialog is sometimes amateurish. And I think the emotional healings that take place near the end of the book happen way too quickly and way too easily. However, I still give this book four stars. Why? Because throughout this book the nature of God is described in a way that -- for the most part -- I think more people should be introduced to. For instance, paraphrasing two lines from page 187: 'Just because God works incredible good out of unspeakable tragedies doesn't mean that God orchestrated the tragedies. Don't assume that God's using something means that God caused it or that God needed that to accomplish God's purposes.' That idea alone is a valuable one to consider, and I think it makes this book well worth reading. Steven Lane Taylor, author of Row, Row, Row Your Boat: A Guide for Living Life in the Divine Flow
