This is a classic old film from the 30's 1936 i think. It follows up after the end of the 1931 classic Dracula. Gloria Holden plays Dracula's daughter and disposes of the body of Dracula (which was killed off in the 31 film)by burning the body. She seeks the advise of a London doctor for help in her affliction but of course follows the same path as her father! She never drinks wine!! This is a good film and if you like the old style films then you will enjoy it. Now, it would have been much better if only James Whale would have been allowed to do this film but the movie company I understand did not like his scandelous ideas and so we never got to see what would have been. James Whale of course directed Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and the Invisible Man and even the Old Dark House!

This is my favorite movie from Hammer! The Film bites so well that i still have the marks on my neck! If you like vampire films then this is one you cannot miss. Peter Cushing is brilliant as always and Christopher Lee does an great job as Dracula. This film is complete with good atmosphere, color, direction and so much more. Get it!!

I give it 4 stars because this movie is neatly done. I saw it several years ago at the Starlite Drive In located in Priceton, In. It was a refreshing different view! If you enjoy comedy and vampire flicks and if you don't mind the other themes in this film then i think you will like it. Bumbling vampire killers, lookout!! While Bela would have put the bite to your neck, thse might have bit you somewhere else!

This film is no classic but it is a fun one i remember as a kid. I saw it late night of course and enjoyed it then and i have seen it since and realize that you should take it as it is and not look for extreme quality acting but if you are a sci fi fan and enjoy old flicks then you will have fun with this one. Break out the popcorn and gather the kids for a good viewing.

This is a very good movie. Tom Hanks is great as always and Michael Clark Duncan is just as good! The movie is a bit long but it's so good it keeps you into the movie thus you don't really mind the time length of the film. Hanks supervises Death Row in the 30's and meets John Coffey (Duncan), a Death Row inmate who seems to have the gift of seeing people how they really are and the gift of being able to heal and more. Thats all i will say as you need to see the movie.

I had never seen this film until recently. I only knew Hitchcocks later classics and this one is as good as many of them. I love this film. It is fast paced, its got the atmosphere and more. A great classic spy/mystery/suspense and more from the 30's.

I can't believe it. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The DVD is superb and the acting is great. The characters are extremely interesting and the movie will amaze you. The extras the DVD has is great especially Frank Capra Jr. talking. I am sorry but there are very few movies today as good as the ones of yesteryear and this one is supreme!

I don't think this movie is nearly as good as they say. I think you have to be a Travolta fan to go all out on this one. The movie is ok but thats about it. I can think of much better comedies that this one.

Everyone else has said it all. So here is my 2 cents worth. Get the movie if you like 30's films and in particular old house and mystery films. The video quality is very good but i agree, the sound is a little low but hey, its great to have it. Now, this got me thinking, I like Chester Morris and wish i could find some Boston Blackie movies.

Ok, here it is. I am a huge fan of Abbott and Costello movies. Africa Screams is a decent one and has many funny moments but its not their best. Jack and The Beanstalk is ok but thats about it. You won't go wrong watching these movies though. So, on this DVD double feature i went Ape and Not Giant if you get my drift. Ape for Africa Screams and throw out the magic beans for Jack and the Beanstalk. 3 stars is all i could give!
