Great music ~ my Daughter LOVES it!, Feb 25 2009
Hello :)
My 4 year old daughter has absolutely fallen in LOVE with this movie. We had rented other Barbie movies in the past (Mariposa, Fairytopia) and they did not go over so well...she didn't seem to get into them. But this one was different...we rented this video on Friday, and must have watched it about 10 times by Wednesday...she just keeps watching it over and over again. I have to say that the songs by Katherine McPhee (American Idol runner up) are really quite good! I find myself humming along to them :) My daughter's birthday is coming up, and I decided to get her the movie, and the music CD to listen to in bed...I am sure that they will be a hit. If you have had little success with barbie movies in the past, I DO recommend this one....it has a great stoyline, and good animation, and like I said before the music is really good. I don't think that you will be dissappointed in getting it!

A great little map!, Feb 18 2009
We just got back from a week long vacation in Hyannis, MA in Cape Cod. THis little map was so handy to have! It fits in your purse, and when you open it up it it flips open like a pop up book. It shows all of the cape cod area, and even has detailed sections of the major towns around the area...it shows you the ferry routs to Martha's Vineyard, Boston and Nantucket. It was a very handy little map to have with us and I recommend it to anyone travelling to the area for the first time :) well worth the money :)

Short and not well edited., Feb 11 2009
I just finished reading this book, and I thought I would review it for others.
The first thing I need to mention is that this book is VERY SHORT...only 45 pages, and is more like a pamphlet than a novel.
The writer does not go into too much emotional details...he just says things like I was scared, or frightened....I never really got a very good impression of being with him through the experience, as I would have liked. The story gets a bit wacky when they discover a NEST?? in their crawl space and determine that it is the nest of a winged demon living in the house?? A bit far fetched...they figure out that there is a young girl and his grandmother trapped in this world by the demon.
I never really got the story...did they SEE this creature, did the get the impression that it was there? Did the psychic tell them it was there??
I just was left quite disappointed...too many unanswered questions and not enough details. I would have liked a bit more embelishment about the atmosphere the emotion etc...
He says that he levitated, and saw full body aparitions numerous times...it is my experience that these occurences are VERY rare...
I read this book in the bath, and was finished before the water got cold...45 minutes and I was out of the bath and the book was done.
The writing was not well done, the authoor uses short undescriptive sentences, and there were a number of gramatical errors that were a bit distracting.
I do not recommend this book, but if you do decide to read it, get a used copy.

I cried ~ but felt better :), Jul 29 2008
Hello,
I felt I needed to comment on this wonderful CD.
When I listened to this CD, I started to cry about 1 minute in...and I didn't even see it coming. SHe reinforces LOVING the inner child, and going back in time and seeing the person you were at certain ages...and giving them the love that they deserve. I am a mother of 2 now...and I was able to see myself as though I was my own child, and how I would treat ME at that time in my life. I was able to see that how we were treated was wrong, and that we SHOULD have been protected from the stress, and anger that was around us. I was even able to give myself a hug as a child (I know it sounds weird...but it is really cathartic).
ANyway that was the first step...the second meditation allows you to release the anger, and resentment that you are holding in for all the bad things that happen to you (or that you have done..) and let it float away. The resentment is only holding you back...the abusor most likely doesn't even know that you are harboring resentment for them...you face the incident and then let it go out of your body, as though it is a physical tumor or rock inside of you. I actually felt wonderful after it was done.
I woke up today with a better attitude, and actually felt GOOD for the first time in a long time....I want to keep doing the CD, to see if it gets easier to let things go.
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone dealing with abuse or resentment or anyone just holding on to negative energy....it really does eleviate some of the stress, and you will feel better.

SHe was very rushed, I could not focus., Jul 28 2008
Hello all,
I felt I needed to review this item. I LOVE Doreen Virtue's work, and side one of this cassette was very interresting, and it really opened my eyes to the possibility of us not being alone in the world. I started to ask for help from my angels, and for the most part I feel as though they DO help me when they can..it is very interresting.
I gave the review 3 stars because although I found the lecture on side 1 VERY good, and well worth listening to...side 2 with the meditation was VERY rushed. She hardly says a thought, and tells you to repeat it before she interrupst by moving on to something else. I really wish she would redo this and give the listener time to focus on what she is saying, visualize the things we are suppose to, before moving on. She spews out a whole string of things to ask about without giving you enough time to even comprehend what she is saying before she moves on....I felt VERY rushed, and VERY un-relaxed. I just could NOT get into the meditation. It was VERY distracting. So although the information in the lecture is great...the meditation unfortunately really isn't :(

Frustrated with no descriptions, Jul 23 2008
I get frustrated sometimes when I can't figure out what a product is. In this case I was trying to figure out what the difference was between the 1 CD and 2 CD sets of Angel Medicine. After a bit of research on the web, I found this info...I hope it can help someone else decide if this is the right set for them :)

Very well written ~ CREEPY!, April 30 2008
I did not find this book SCARY ~ but it definitely had it's creepy moments.
The house has a definite history to it ~ I will not give too much away but there was a violent past filled with murder, abuse, and mental illness. It also seems to have been a stop on the underground railroad which in itself would have been a good story...
I fell in love with the old caretaker who helps them out, and was sad to hear of his eventual passing.
I started to feel like I knew the family and enjoyed going along on their journey with them.
I kind of felt like the family got used to things in the house that should not have been NORMAL...but I guess that is what you do when you are faced with a situation that you have no control over, the family HAD to stay due to financial and contractual agreements, so they learned to live with the spirits. Because of this fact, I felt like they kind of glossed over some occurrences that to them were old hat, but to the outside reader could have been expanded into fascinating and creepy reading, obviously the author was not TRYING to scare the reader, instead just looking to make sense and doccument what the family went through.
I highly recommend this book and hope that it gets reprinted again soon!
Another book I recently read that I totally recommend along the same lines is:
Overshadows: An Investigation into a Terrifying Modern Canadian Haunting
by Richard Palmisano I also gave it 5 starts but in contrast it DID scare me...I got chills multiple times :) Worth a read!!

A good read...not scary but definitely CREEPY !!, April 30 2008
This book was really quite good although it didn't necessarily SCARE me, as much as creep me out.
I was well written.
I enjoyed it :)
Another recent read that I totally recommend is:
Overshadows: An Investigation into a Terrifying Modern Canadian Haunting
by Richard Palmisano ~ I gave it 5 stars aas it gave me the chills a number of times...well worth a look.
