I'm glad I bought this set despite the bad reviews I read on the site. I decided to order it and if I had trouble with the DVDs, I could just return it.

I didn't have to! First, the set is really beautiful, opens like a book with pictures from the series inside. I'm used to let my friends borrow some of my DVD sets, but this one is staying home, that's for sure!

I had no problem whatsoever with getting the DVDs out of the set, so maybe the problem got solved since the first release? I don't know.

Knowing what one Doctor Who season costs, this is a reasonable price for all of the David Tennant's years including bonuses and special episodes. For now, I'm only watching all the episodes back to back, but then I'll have to watch them again with commentaries, watch the outtakes, video diaries, making ofs, and so on. Hours and hours of entertainment with the Tenth Doctor!

Oh and David Tennant is brilliant, but you all already know that.
